missing money website

so i was browsing msnbc and read an article about how the AG of pennsylvania was suing a website that charged people to "locate" their missing money states owed them and such. Apparently he got pissed when he typed in batman and ninja turtles and it got a hit. anyhow he gave the url for a website calledThe Link and so i decided to put my name in it and cingular owed me a deposit from 2001.

A few years ago, I discovered $100 owed to my mom. I tried to go through the proper channels to get her money back. It wasn't worth the hassle. The state of Texas is still holding the money.

Is that website 100% legit? It asks me for my SS number so I just wanna be for sure.

If you go through the comptrollers website it is legit. I found $100 owed to me and $600 to my wife. I filled out the form online and mailed it in. A month later i got two checks in the mail. Nice little unexpected gift.

I left an account open at the University Credit Union with 90 plus bucks in it. Just found out through one of those websites.
