Missing/crashed F 35

So much speculation about this fighter including why the pilot bailed.
At least the Bee can explain why it isn't easy to find.

This whole story is sketchy.

And I'm very skeptical of both the F-35 and F-22. Very expensive planes for what they do, and there have been rumors suggesting that both are a POS for how expensive they are. I've long smelled a slimy procurement deal, much like with the A-12 Avenger (which never got built) and KC-46 programs (where we screwed Airbus).

Agree the whole story is hinky. Doubt we will ever get the truth but some of the stories are absurd. I did not know that the Marine version which is the one that crashed are adapted to VTOL. AF and Navy are not.
Also the Marine version has an automatic eject system . The others do not.
And the fighter flew 60 miles after pilot ejected?
it is s miracle it didn't crash in a populated area
