Minute Maid Park Help

I am needing some info on seeing a game at Minute Maid Park for the first time. Me and my 81 yr old Dad try to get together each summer and take in some baseball. We have been going up to Arlington the last few years but would like to check out the Astros this season. I am looking for a nice hotel close to the park. I have found the Inn at the Ballpark which seems pretty nice. Looking for any other tips and suggestions!

Thanks!

Your best bets are either Inn at the Ballpark, Hilton Americas, or the Four Seasons. All within walking distance of MMP.

You can't go wrong with any of those 3 options......

Hilton is a HUGE convention-oriented hotel.

Inn at the Ballpark is much smaller, but very nice and laid back.....not knowing anything else, it would probably be better suited for you and your grandfather.

The Four Seasons is the Four Seasons......and that's a good thing.

The Inn at the Ballpark is directly across the street from Minute Maid Park. If your father has any trouble getting around, this might be your best bet.

Many people pregame in the lobby/ bar before the game as well.

The Inn is good. The Magnolia is also close. Good deals can be had for the Hilton on priceline. You can get a cab anywhere downtown to the ball park for a few dollars.
