The jury is still out at our house on how well the thing really cleans, but it is a really cool thing to sit and watch while you are on hold on the phone.
I don't know how well it would transform a really filthy floor, but it definitely pushes all the detritus to the corners and when you use the wet mopping mode it definitely rubs a wet swiffert pad back and forth.
