OK. Y'all know that I've been here a long time, & I've never come on here to rave about a recruit, but....
I won't even tell you who he kinda reminds me of, but he's 6'4" & over 200 lbs, so he's not some little scat back type..
And unless tonight was just an extreme fluke, how can anybody only rate this guy a 3 star??? The Colts were playing on the road at PESH (Plano East) which is usually a tough place to visit, but Miles just dominated for a 49-48 win. He threw for 140 yds & 3 TDs, No Picks, & he rushed for 212 yds & 4 more TDs !!! It was tied at 41 & PESH got the ball to start OT. They scored on about a 25 yd pass & the Colts were down 7, so... Miles just took over & after a couple of runs he was in the endzone. They decided to win it right there, & even though everybody knew he was gonna run it again, he just couldn't be stopped.
Final: Arlington 49
PESH 48

Seriously, that's Man against Boys kind of stuff right there. Our coaches sure have the eye for talent, although I probably need to take a step back & consider thats only one game, but i've just got a hunch that he's gonna have a really dominant year.
That's all I got.

When your team scores 49 and you pass/run for 7 Td's you've just about done it all. That's impressive! Thanks for the info!

He accounted for all 7 tds in a 1 pt win. Sounds like the defense kinda sucks and he'll need to do this every week for the Colts to have a good yr.

Looking at that film, almost reminds me of NFL films highlights of Harold Carmichael. I'm sure some of you oldtimers remember that name. Miles is wearing a green jersey with #17.

Limas wishes he looked like that. If he has decent speed (4.6) he could be a special player. Looks much better than I imagined he would. Reminds me of the Carrolton kid that went to ou about 6 yrs ago, except more physical...

Big Harold was a Cowboy killer. 6ft. 9 with good speed at wide out. When he and Ed Jones lined up across from each other it looked like the NBA in full pads.

Miles is going to make Longhorn fans very happy. He is a great athlete who happens to be playing QB this year, but the good news is that by having the ball in his hands every play, we get to see him making a lot more plays on his own than if the Colts were trying to throw to him 10x per game or so (with almost assured double coverage on every play).

Against Coppell, they figured out after the first half of giving up some big runs that they would just play 'contain' against Miles and dare him to beat them with his arm. Arlington was shut out in the second half. Coppell is an extremely well-coached team, though.

I expect Miles is going to have some great stats and plays to rave about after the game against Mansfield Timberview this week, though.

He is smooth! Would loved to have seen him play with the two Aggies last year. Maybe the QB role will make him more of an all round player for Texas down the road.. 3 star, 4 star, whatever, we're lucky to have him as a Longhorn.

J Turner at Arlington Sam Houston is putting up much bigger numbers (sounds unbelievable but true) and from the story in the FtWorth paper tuesday, is convinced he will beat out T Martinez at neb...

He will be a WR at Texas? Is that Correct? He looks like someone that we will have to get the ball to. He has size, can run, can pass, can catch? Welcome to Texas Miles, can he play against OU?

remember, Turner IS a QB. Miles is a WR they stuck at QB so I would expect Turner to have better numbers.

I didn't actually post about J Turner to compare the two. Only that as incredible as Onyegbule's numbers are, Turner's even more off the charts. Truth is I wouldn't have really expected any HS QB to put up better numbers overall than Miles.
