Miles might be headed to OKC...

Doubt Utah resigns him. He's shown a lot of promise, but Utah has an up and comer in Ronnie Brewer and a solid backup in Korver as well as their first round pick (almond).

May be best for Miles though. This gives him a chance to get a solid 20+ minutes where I think he can average double figures, become a legit 3pt shooting threat and give seattle an athletic 2 guard.

I agree with Mitch. Regardless of his upside, 3.75 mil per year for somebody that averaged around 4 ppg seems like a lot.

well it ain't your money. unless you plan on buying a bunch of tickets to their games.

glad to see that cj's gamble of entering the draft has paid off.

I'm still in shock Oklahoma City has an NBA team.

Seems as though Sloan held it against Miles for not participating in summer league. Miles felt there was no need to risk it before a contract year.

Williams wanted him back, praised his work ethic, said guys like Lebron, and others that worked out at the same facility were all impressed. Good signing by the TBA's, he should blossom given minutes. They have a great young core:

Westbrook, Miles, Green, Durant.

Homer,

I know you follow Utah. Why do you think Utah matches? I hope you're right and I have heard Sloan compliment Miles pretty regularly throughout the season, but Utah has 4 SGs on the roster with Miles.

You think Utah matches and makes him a combo 2/3... or gives up on Almond?

I'd like to see what he can do with more play time. I feel like he's on the edge of blooming into something good.

Comments from Sloan make it sound like he'd be more than happy with him not coming back.

Also, the Jazz are already over the cap and I believe are already paying the luxury tax so matching it would really be like paying 30 mil over 4 years.
