I remember going on a recruiting trip to Baton Rouge to watch them play Rice. They rolled Mike's cage up near the visitor's door, and while the crowd chanted "tiger bait", the handlers would hit Mike with a cattle prod to make him roar. Very intimidating.

That Sabre plus the visitors locker room at one time was under the LSU Student Section. The students would arrive early and start chanting and stomping. Very difficult to get mentally focused.

We had a couple of friends on the Rice team and asked if we could go over and say "hello". I swear LSU pumped humidity into the visitor's locker room. No AC, no carpeting. We didn't stay long.
