Middle Schools

I am possibly looking to move into the Round Rock or Cedar Park school districts. What are the better middle schools in those districts? Also, I'll be looking into apartments, so areas dense in apartments would be helpful. I've heard mixed opinions about Pflugerville. Any other affordable areas for a single mom?

For Round Rock....Canyon Vista, Cedar Valley, or Walsh MS's

For Cedar Park....Henry MS, Cedar Park MS, and maybe Running Brushy MS.

If I had to send my kid to one of the above, it would be Henry MS by far then Cedar Park MS. I only say this because I know they have good academics as well as excellent sports programs.

cedar park ms would be your best bet IMO to find a good apartment and middle school. i'm not an expert but i think you might find a better deal in renting a home rather than an apartment.

Canyon Vista Middle School and it's pathway to Westwood offer the best academics in the area. You can look on greatschools.net to get more specific info.

There are several nice apartment complexes nearby, as well as a handful of duplex/condos in the area. Sort of depends where you need to live. Some of the leander schools are supposed to be pretty good as well... depends on how far out you wnt to live.
