Hernandez and Torres sure are great defensive players from what I saw this weekend. It begs the question, best defensive SS and 2B in Augie's tenure? How about best at each position?

I second the vote for Quintanilla and Moss. Watching those guys turn an impossible double play was almost a daily occurrence.

Am I misremembering (tm) or did Omar play mostly 3rd?

I know Brandon Fahey played mostly SS in 2002, and he had a much better glove than Omar.

As has already been mentioned here Omar Quintanilla played 3rd base not SS in 2002 (same in 2003 I think though I'm not sure). I believe Michael Holliman got most of the work at SS in 2002. My recollection was that he was pretty solid defensively as well. I don't recall if he was the SS in 2003.
