Of note Cole Green started and threw four innings of scoreless one hit ball with nine strikeouts.

Lets hope that this is what he needed to get back on track.

If Cole didnt have bad luck he wouldnt have any luck at all as his first win just got pissed away.

Damn the Horns blow a 5 to 0 lead to UTSA in the 8th? At least Green pitched well.

Shepherd on second with no outs in bottom of 8th.

Bases loaded with two outs for Horns. 5-5 tie in bottom of 8th.

Walla grounds into a force at third and Horns blow leadoff runner on second with no outs. 5-5 headed to ninth.

Horns get leadoff man aboard in bottom of ninth but an interference call and a fly out have him still at first with two down.

And a K ends the inning headed to extras, just what you want for a midweek game.

Now in bottom of 11th with horns batting still tied at 5.

Time to head home from work so hopefully horns can find a run.

Last year Horns hit a club record 81 homers, tonight they got their first 2. Texas blows a 5 run lead but win it in 11. Knebel with the win, he pitched great again with 3 innings and 6 K's.

I'm not sure if I'm right on this and it could be selective memory on my part, but aren't we scoring a lot of our runs with 2 outs?

All runs given up by Texas were unearned. Horns make 3 more errors. Defense must improve.
