I'm torn. I prefer Michigan to tOSU, but I want to overtake Michigan in overall victories before I die.

tOSU may not be themselves for a couple of years because of attrition from tattoo-gate, but if their interim coach doesn't adequately replace the sweater vest, they'll go out next year and grab a big name head coach...that's how the big boys roll.

Michigan's been down a bit the last two or three years, because trying to make Rich Rod a fit there was like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Hoke's a much better fit and it's already showing in Michigan's recruiting. They'll be back to themselves in a couple of years.

All of this is by way of saying that long-term, not much is going to change in the Big Larger Than Ten.

Before his was hired, how many college football fans in (e.g.) Texas, California, or Florida had heard of him. He was in unknown except in DII circles, not a recognizable name.
