Congratulations to Michael Young, who became the Rangers all-time hits leader last night. And in typical Michael Young fashion, in his post-game interview, he was more concerned that his second hit -- the record-breaker -- drove in two runs that helped ensure the victory over the Marlins.

Hi, Texanne,
I didn't get to watch the game (teaching at our Bridge club last night), but I did see the highlights on ESPN. Good for Michael - he is a superb "face of the Rangers" and is deserving of being an All-Star again. Hope he spends his entire career as a Ranger - and I hope we get to see his 3000th hit!
Mrs. HHD and I have tickets for the 4th of July. Did that last year, and the fireworks show after the game was outstanding. I assume it will be as good this year.

Shadowdancer and I need to get our July 4 tickets -- hope they're not sold out! We go every year on the Fourth ... well, when the Rangers are at home, that is ...

so, the rest of this year, and then 6 more years to 3000?

How old is MIchael? I'm guessing 28, 29? Unless he gets injured, I see him getting to 3000.
