Cruz Azul vs Santos Laguna is on right now. Santos won the first leg at CA. Dont know if there are any mexican soccer fans out there.....

So, what was the outcome? I don't have Univision/Galavision, etc... But I'll watch and am interested in just about any soccer game at any level.

Mexico has a terrible, watered down playoff system (10 of 18 teams qualify) and a two-season season. It allows also rans to get hot and win the championship, but Santos are worthy champions because they earned the most points, and scored the most goals throughout the course of the year. It is pretty amazing considering they were one game from being relegated last year. Both of these teams and the finalists from the last tournament (Atlante of Cancun, and Pumas UNAM) are set to play in the newly minted CONCAChampions, which gets going this september.

Now all eyes are on Club America to see if they can advance to the Libertadores final, and to see if SGE gets named as Mexico's coach on Tuesday.
