What a week of football. Watched Horns beat KU, going to watch Vince and Titans Mon night and tickets for A&m and B12 Champ. To be a topper how's this, just got back from meeting Vince. Went to Omni where they are staying and a security guy whom my daughter knows from Nashville arranged for family to meet him. Me, wife, daughter, and son. Very nice and totally unexpected. We were told to be in Omni lobby at 8:00PM but not for what. Figured was maybe some walk in or something. But after I went to have car parked came in and kids called me up the stairs and there he was, waiting for me to have picture taken with him. He was all decked out in a fancy suit. We exchanged pleasantries then he went off to meeting. We hung out and watched them all pass down the hall to the meeting then here comes Vince back in more casual attire - said hello and off to meeting.
Too cool. Glad I had a Longhorn shirt on. He commented on that and the boots.
