Messing around with the pit...sirloin cap

This is about a 2lb cap through ButcherBox. I've done a few in the oven but decided to try one over mesquite. Rubbed it last night and pulled it out this morning to come closer to room temp.

Next time, I would take it out of the pit at 1:30 instead of 1:45. Still tasty though...
 
Thnx. It had been a while since I did much out there other than direct grilling in the firebox. But it IS that time of year again, so I figured I needed a spring game of my own...
 
Have you tried any of this **** for seasoning?

Mrs. Deez went to Texas back in January and brought back some Bull **** and Chicken ****. I think they're pretty good. I think all of these rubs cost more than they should, but these are good. BS is especially good on burgers and steak.
What doesn't these days?
