Ok, for those of us tail gating at home, what are some good ideas. What are ya'll fixing? Any roast elephant recipes? Maybe some of the Rusty recipes can be adapted for elephant. Seriously, what are ya'll cooking up?

Maybe it's just me and my buddies, but we prepared a big meal in Jan. 06 for the game, and we were just too nervous to eat much at all. We had plenty of leftovers, but some food just went to waste. This time, I'm saving my time and money and ordering pizza or wings.

I can't eat the entire game. In 2006 I had a big party and planned for some great food... no one touched a damn thing... I suggest sinking your money into some beer, and then some good champagne for the win.

4 racks of ribs, 12 lb brisket, sausage, hot dogs for kiddos and plenty of beer. gonna be cold thursday morning when i start on that brisket.

I may just take Thursday and Friday off. I'm either going out of town and watch the game at some sports bar or just stay home and attempt to make tamales and time it so that they're ready right around game time.

The forcast for Thursday here (Clovis, NM) is high 32, low 12, possible snow showers so the weather is good for tamales.

Will be having the same pre-game meal I had for the usc game. Enchiladas, rice, beans and quacamole. Will have some Queso for half time(can't eat during game). Plenty of Dr. Pepper.
Will be wearing the same Texas shirt I wore for usc.
The weather here in Illinois for Thursday will be 10 degrees and snowing.
