...should win an NCAA championship tonight! They were down by 18 pts to Cal after day 2 but qualified four more swimmers for tonight's A/B finals; combine that with a higher finish in the relay prelims and our divers in the platform event and we're on track for a nice win (this would be team title #10 for the program!). Go Horns!

Can't wait to finally win it all after coming in 2nd the last two years.

Eddie Reese was always very nice to me, and I am so happy for him to have won another national championship. Well done, Coach!

Is there anyone near campus that can tell us if the tower is orange?

I think we have a good chance next year and also maybe the year after it. We have a lot of good swimmers and divers coming back next year plus some excellent recruits. I would love to get the next two years for our coach because he is one behind the Ohio State's coach's record of 11 NCs in S&D and it would be great for our coach to beat his record.

But for right now it is the 2010's day of glory!

WAY TO GO HORNS!

Article from Columbus Dispatch (since this is the local paper, a large portion of the article is about the Buckeyes. Our team this year is probably our best since our '63 team so that's pretty exciting to us).

Congrats on your national championship! I'd much rather see you win than any California team.

Would help if I'd put the link in... and I forgot how to post links on here... let's try From>The Link the Columbus Dispatch

I was really disappointed with the Dispatch coverage, this is actually the first good sized articled I've even seen.

Sinton.....
Could you elaborate a little about recruits for next year? The swimming magazine I accessed a few months back during recruiting period was not showing alot for UT---compared to Auburn, Cal and other top programs. Maybe I missed it, and maybe you could just provide a reference.
Also, do you happen to know how the women recruited?
Thanks

I am late to the celebration but:

In addition to top 10 recruit Tucker the women also have Lily Moldenhauer...for some reason she isn't in the collegeswimming.com database but is definitely one of the country's top recruits (top ranked butterflier in the nation and national hgih school record holder i believe). Very nice class for the women. There doesn't seem to be be many recruits listed for the men, and unless I missed it, there wasn't a release on our men's swimming signees last Fall. Here's a link that lists the 2 men and 11 women classified as 6-star recruits for 2010...Horns have signed two of the women....
