Time for some positive news about Texas softball? Here is a great story about Blaire Luna, back to back Central Texas Softball player of the year, and incoming UT pitcher.
I have seen umpires literally turn their heads sideways thinking they were gonna get hit by a pitch that our catcher was gonna miss, and then turn around and say...strike??
She has pin point accuracy.
If she can be anything close to Cat, UT fans will be very, very happy.
Honestly, my only concern is because she throws so much off speed pitching, her fingers have a tendency to blister fairly easy.
But she has stamina like no other.
She is the one that pitched 18 innings against San Antonio in one of the longest games in the State of Texas history.
And I have seen her throw back to back 9 inning games as well.
Of course, competition is gonna be A LOT different at the next level.
