medical marijuana

What do you think his (RP) position is on recreational MJ? I would rather encounter a pothead in an alley late at night than a drunk.

Imagine yourself needing a jumpstart or needing help fixing a flat. Who helps first, Romney or a pothead? I'd bet a pothead.

I find this to be an almost worthless predictor of a candidate's compassion.

It's a set-up. What do you expect them to say? No matter what they're going to be criticized.

And as to whom would help first: Romney or a pothead, I would guess Romney. Assuming, of course, that he's not in some sort of Presidential motorcade....

It's a bit of an ambush by the guy in the wheelchair, but that doesn't change the fact that Romney is a total slimeball.

POS response by Romney, even though he was kind of blind sided. He could have given a decent 30 second response and then agreed not to discuss it.

even though i completely disagree, i think i would give Romney a pass here considering we don't know the context really. it looked like the guy just showed up at a nursing home Romney was visiting or something.

Romney's a dick, but the guy filming kinda was too. It's clear that Romney isn't going to support medical marijuana, no need to press it, IMO.

Romney mentions synthetic marijuana, AKA Marinol. Available in every pharmacy in America as a CIII controlled substance, same schedule as Vicodin and similar opiate medications. Marinol contains only one of the many cannabanoids with antiemetic and appetite stimulating effects. From the accounts that I have read, marinol is much less effective than cannabis, and not as well tolerated. Various other cannabanoid compounds are being researched for pharmaceuticalization. It's ******* stupid to me that you would make Marinol available to people (at like $10 a pill) and not cultivated marijuana. There are much more dangerous drugs available by prescription (cocaine, methamphetamine, opium, etc). The whole fed approach to medical marijuana just lacks common sense.

I would vote for RP before MR.
But that's simply because I think the "War on Pot" is a ridiculous waste of money that fuels drug violence (Mexican gangs) and I worked with Mormons for 2 months in Salt Lake City... if you could call what they did "working".
