As a follow-up to my more popluar than expected "Talk to me like I'm a 4 year old" post, I would like put in my two cents on Mr. Scott's decision. I'm sure there will be some more "Hey widdle guy, did you make a poo-pee in your pannies" posts, but they are funny - so bring em.
Anyways, while I do think that Mr. Scott's decision was a dumb move, you cannot fault the kid for wanting to go where he has family and where his family was pressuring him to go. That said, I hope we pound the f@ck out of him come fall.
I do believe that it just wasn't in the cards. I think it will work out well for us. There are some major studs in next years' class at RB. Getting Scott would have prevented us from landing one of them, who may very likely turn into one of those legendary, record setting UT rushers like Earl, Ricky or Ced AND maybe Scott will end up being a bust, I know I will be following his career closely.
