McFarland vs. Larry Dibbles

While I know it is very difficult to make such comparisons. Does anyone see any similarities to the two players as far as where they were/are coming out of HS?

Purely based on rankings, from what I remember Dibbles was ranked behind Rodrique Wright, and Vince was the No. 1 player in Texas that year. Most rankings I've seen this year have McFarland as No. 1 in Texas.

I googled Larry Dibbles, and the latest info I found was his anticipated NFL draft position. Where is he now?

If McFarland turns out as good as Jerry Ball, he will have a damn good career.

Npt only did he make that fumble recovery he caused it by knocking it loose from the ball carriers hands. It was a great play. Pigs say we were lucky to win that game. Maybe? But it was a play made by a horn that won the game not a mistake by a pig that lost it for them.

It seems McFarland didn't make it to the LSU camp this weekend. I'm thinking OU is a bigger player for this kid than we've been led to believe. Jackie Shipp is an awesome recruiter so it shouldn't surprise, but I'd just assumed it was a UT/LSU race til signing day for this kid.
