Hey folks. Just wanted to let you know we posted a free story on 2011 WR Jaxon Shipley, the younger brother of Jordan Shipley. Enjoy:

It was Brad and Bob at Abilene Christian and Colt and Jordan at Texas. But could a third McCoy-Shipley combination be on the way? Colt McCoy's younger brother, Case, is already committed to Texas for the class of 2010 and Jordan Shipley's younger brother, Jaxon, is one of the top receivers in Texas for 2011. Inside Texas traveled to Brownwood and sat down with Jaxon Shipley and his coach (and father) Bob Shipley to talk football and friendship.

I think most are still very high on Colt fumes (with good reason), but I am very skeptical of his brother being able to excel as a Big-12 starting QB or ever getting meaningful snaps. The younger McCoy appears to have a much lower game-time IQ and a significantly higher propensity for turnovers that does the legendary, Colt. But who knows, they could turn out like the Detmer brothers and younger brother could be scrappy good.
