MBA vs MS Finance

Would appreciate any insight as to how these degrees compare in opening up opportunities, assuming a concentration in finance in the MBA program.

MBA for sure. People aren't really sure what to make of MSFs yet. The job opportunities for MBAs are still much better.

I have an MSF, and really, it is simply a one year post undergrad program that concentrates in Finance. It is the same couses as I would have taken as an MBA, but the experience requirement was not there. If you are going to do grad school, an MBA is more respected and understood. At least, that is what I found. My MSF was generally looked over.
