This is Los Angeles and the Dem Mayor will immediately furlough city workers who are members of 4 unions who voted against a concession deal the Mayor and the Coalition of City Unions put together.
The mayor proomised if they'd agree to the deal none would be furloughed. 14 other unions voted for it and their members won't be furloughed.
Interesting situation. Los Angeles like other major cities have to find ways to deal with budget shortfalls. How do workers/ union members think it happens?
This happens in GOP run and Dem run cities and states which should make it hard for unions to accuse only Pubs of hating unions.
