Holgorsen was brought in by Oliver Luck - perhaps not with Stewart's unqualifid approval - and his mandate is to install "his" brand of offense. The HC micromanaging this is in the wrong (assuming that's what was happening) particularly if he does so in the team's presence, and the OC is very much in the right to overrule immediately.
This, rather than the issues of off-the-job non-family-oriented behavior - real or exaggerated - may be the true reason for Mack vetoing Muschamp's selection of Holgorsen.
