Max Bretos to ESPN

Noticed tonight on ESPNEWS that Max Bretos has moved over from Fox Soccer Channel. Possibly due to the World Cup this summer?

Hadn't seen this. Thankfully he got rid of that half aussie accent affectation he had a few years ago. He's only mildly annoying now.

His annoyance level elevates when he tries to sound Argentine. It's not Argentine, it's asinine.

But I am glad that ESPN has someone who is a footiephile. I still shudder when I think of Dave Revsine hosting world cup coverage.

Perhaps with Bretos and Martin Tyler on board, Univision will only double them up on their ratings, not triple or quadruple them.
