Mavs with huge comeback

It may have only been the T'wolves but the Mavs were behind 70-41 tonight early in the 3rd qtr. That's when they decided to start playing their *** off. The defense kicked in and it seemed like every one of their shots went in, and if it didn't one of their guys were there to tip it in.

Pretty freaking phenomenal. I'm not sure there was even a substitution in the 4th. Dirk, Kidd, Jet, Damp and Josh Howard - who may have played his best game of the year.

The Mavs have a soft part of the schedule right now, so they need to run it up while they can. So far so good.The Link

LaMarcus with 20 tonight dishing the Celtics their 5th loss of the season. Portland played without B. Roy, and after being down by 10 at the end of the 1st, they outscored Boston in every other quarter ftw.

Happened on gift tickets to the game tonight. crazy loud.

How can you get behind by 29 at home to the Lowly Timberwolves? Great comeback but where was the effort in the first half?

they were laying in the bushes. luckily, it's the score at the end of 4 quarters that matters.

Mavs with smaller comeback tonight. Only 12 points. But, the usual suspects lead the way...Dirk with 31 and Jet off the bench where he has been unstoppable with 21. He should be an All-Star along with Dirk.

Mavs moved ahead of Rockets tonight and are only 1.5 games behind the Hornets for 2nd seed in West. Big cluster of teams after Lakers from 2nd thru 9th.

I have seen the Mavs blow bigger leads.

Over 1/3 of the way through the season, the lowly Mavs have 2 less losses than the supposed "championship contenders" down in Houston.

The Mavs played worse than warmed-over spit tonight against the lowly Bucks. After racking up 30 points in the 1st qtr and a 30-22 lead, they proceeded to give up FORTY-TWO in the 2nd. I didn't realize you could have that many possessions in one quarter. But they were just getting started. In the 2nd half they gave up 69. DIdn't see the game so I don't know if it was ineptitude or lack of effort. Must have been both for it to be that bad.

Just when you think the Mavs are on the way back something like this happens.

nice rebound by Mavs spanking the Pistons. lots of jumpshots falling, though, which may not be a good sign...in a weird sorta way.

Mavs beat Bulls by 1 in OT at home. Dirk with 44, but JJ with 20 in 3rd most minutes on team - 37. Go Mavs!

Bad news on the JET front. Broken hand - out few weeks. Hard to picture JJ picking up slack. Sefko says it has to be Kidd who ended up being the star at the end of the game last night...and that certainly makes sense.
