Maui vs. Molokai

Starting to think about vacation destinations and would be interested in opinions from anyone who has been to the above two islands.

Info such as cost differences, places to stay, things to do, etc.

I think Molokai fits us a little more (I'm assuming its a little cheaper and more laid back overall), but sounds like it is a little trickier to get to.

Thanks

Uhhh....to me Maui is the no-brainer way to go. There's just so much more to do there.

However, if you want way more seclusion and privacy, then Molokai is the way to go. It'll seemed deserted compared to Maui.

But then again, there's a reason why everyone goes to Maui....it's much better. If you are going to fly all the way out there, why limit yourself?

And on Molokai you can meet some fabulous leper women from the leper colony....LOL actually, if you want to experience the old Hawaii...go there. Its an escape from an escape.

Do both.

One of my favorite things about Hawaii is being able to have two completely different vacations in one. Do the quiet, secluded, back-to-nature thing for a few days, and then spend a few days at a resort on Maui. Best of both worlds.
