texashoops.com is reporting that Tommy Mason Griffin has given a verbal commitment to OU.

That's a great pickup for the Sooners. He's going to be an outstanding addition for them.

I don't know how realistic it is (in truth, not very) but if they could somehow manage to keep Blake Griffin and Willie Warren until Mason got on campus, they'd be a potential Final Four type team.

Blake Griffin is #1 pick in draft next year according to some. He would be an idiot if he stayed. Isn't his ****** brother going to be a senior next year? He might have just wanted to finish playing with him.

This cat is supposedly one of the top PG in his class. He has played John Wall to a draw during AAU ball.

He is the first true point guard Capel has managed to sign. I don't necessarily follow the star rankings of kids like their gospel, but If I'm not mistaken, this kid was on the early list of 5-stars before injury set him back This summer was his first chance to showcase his skills nationally. Apparently, his stock has skyrocketed and he will move up accordingly.
