Marquis Jackson WR 2011

I caught one of the best high school games in recent Ft Worth history last night, Dunbar vs Arlington Heights. LB Rashod Favors of Dunbar was on the sideline with an injured leg, so Darius White needed to come through more than usual. White played both ways, and played well. But it was Heights' WR Marquis Jackson who won this battle of the city's best skill players. Jackson made several good catches, but one was over the middle with White all over him, and he scored. Jackson has to be on the recruiting radar bigtime now.

I watched Marquis play when Celina played them, and he went off for 7 catches for 191 yards. For a little perspective, Celina held Chris Jones from Daingerfield to 0 catches, and Tre Metoyer from Whitehouse to 4 catches for 7 yards.

This kid is the best receiver I've seen so far this season, and I've seen 5 D1 receivers (besides him) play live.
