Mack probably now has 3 games circled on the schedule now. Oklahoma, A&M, and CU. I wouldn't be surprised if he runs it up on all 3 of those teams, if possible, this year, and when CU comes to Austin in 09 they better look out. If everyone thought we ran it up on Kansas a couple of years back getting up 52-0, that one could be much much worse.

The only date that should be circled right now is 8/30. Did we learn nothing from Arkansas State and Central Florida? FAU should not be confused with NMSU.
 
Yes. Running up a score on an opponent because of a lost recruiting battle seems EXACTLY like something Mack would do.

It seems like some of you have not paid very close attention during Mack's first 10 years in Austin.
 
What l00p said. For anybody going to the game, be prepared to get smashed with batteries and other things the classy sCUm crowd likes to throw.
 
Why are people so worked up about this? IMO, this doesn't come anywhere to the Bennett/Perriloux debacles.

And saying that Mack has CU "circled" is stupid. ****, I hope he has EVERY game circled.
 
Just read the recruiting board (don't read it very often), and I think I'll tentatively take back what I said in my previous post.
 
Darrell Scott...Meet Sergio Kindle.....BOOM!!!!!! I cant wait to see Darrell's reaction on the sideline after we get by 67 or so. Hopefully the cameramen will find scott's mom in the stands and get the reaction on her face the first time darrell gets laid out by kindle.
 
Oct. 4 is also the day where that poser program known as Misery will get knocked off its high horse in Lincoln.
 
If we couldn't run up on the score on directional florida schools this past year and lost to the 2of 3 three you mentioned, just how in the hell will we all of a sudden run up the score against those 3 this season? I would just settle for victories at this point.
 
I know Mack wouldn't usually do it, but he's pissed. If what happened is rumored to have happened with Scott actually did happen then its more than just a recruit picking someone else that was a better fit.

Another rumor that I've heard is that after the a&m game during the handshake Fran basically said to Mack "how does that feel?"

And OU, well Mack is pissed off now and is gonna be kicking *** and taking names next year. If we learned anything circling dates will help. We went into the KSU game saying "its just another game," we came out flat and they came out fired up expecting us to be intense after last year's loss. They hit us in the mouth and we did nothing. Same with A&M. I honestly believe if more emphasis was put on the revenge factor for those games we would have destroyed them. Mack took some shots at DS and co during his press conference, indirectly, but they were pretty obvious. He's pissed and is determined not to let this program fade into mediocrity.

Also heard a rumor Mack said that if we were up 70-3 on Colorado he wouldn't let up on the gas.

Thats just what I've heard from other people.
