Mark Cuban vs Skip Bayless

I had to stop half way through.

Mark Cuban is a rare person who can make a fan like me side with sports reporters and similar talking heads.

I think I need to go take a shower. I feel like that whenever I see a Mark Cuban interview.

What a spoiled little nuveau riche brat.

Rule #2
Cuban is turning into a Jerry Jones clone (i.e. like to hear himself talk). He traded away/did not sign returnees from a NBA championship team in hopes that more old men will be available in this offseason. Even if the Mavs get everyone they want, they still will not be as good or as young as OKC.

That remains to be seen. Cuban has 2nd longest streak for making playoffs. I won't bet against him.

Rule #3: See Rule #1.

i dont understand how some Mav fans dislike Cuban.
Before he bought the team did anybody really give a **** about the mavs. They were mediocre and invisible, much like the Milwaukee Bucks or GS Warriors. He has spent the money and got the headlines that has helped make them into a successful brand name with on court success to boot.

Realistically, "everyone they want" doesn't include Williams and Howard any longer. Especially if the Howard-to-Brooklyn stays true.

Looks more like Brandon Roy and Joel Przybilla to Dallas. They're just going to have to stay in a holding pattern with 47-year-old guards in the mean time.

Cuban speaks in more generalities than he rips Bayliss for. He says, "That is the most ridiculous thing a sports writer has ever said."

Both are correct though. Lebron shrunk last year and he was a different guy this year in the playoffs. Dallas did affect Lebron last year more than OKC was able to affect him this year.

pharm, I agree with your last statement about James, and I think we will see proof either way in '13. Just because he won ONE championship, let's not forget "not one, not two, not three, etc." that spewed from his mouth last year.

Time will tell how we rate LeBron.
