Mark Cuban on Sampson and Indiana

I didn't even know he went to college, much less IU. He doesn't strike me as the educated type. (Yeah, I know. He's a billionaire. I didn't say he was stupid.)
 
He's right that athletes should be allowed to be athletes on campus, but,

1) the NCAA rules are voted on by the membership. He doesn't like the four-player preseason limit, but everyone agreed to live by it, and

2) one of the reasons the rule is there is because if there weren't, there would be no limit to practice. I know that many high D-I players don't have a degree as top priority, but if you do, you have to have some time for that.

And, as noted, Sampson was caught breaking a rule that he'd broken before. It's his own fault.
