I actually like the original recording much better than the live version linked.

The Foos version does sound better if only for the reason they have like 10 musicians playing the song but it's still Grohl singing both versions

Yeah, that's Grohl. Pretty sure its the only song to feature him on lead vocals. Cobain harmonizes on the chorus.

Also, put me in the camp that likes the simplicity of the Nirvana version better.
