The Pistol did his in 3 seasons not 5 (if it falls) and no 3 pt shot.............he is still the king........

Had there been a three point line in Pete's day, no one would ever come close. I was visiting Austin in the mid 60s & went to a game against LSU at Gregory Gym. When the teams went to the locker rooms at half, Coach Maravich sent Pete out to entertain the crowd with his Globetrotters routine. Must have been 17-18 years old. He was much better than the game.
