this just in.

i am biased because he was a huge part of our turn around, but bman, this guy has put together a program. not just a team, but a system, a philosophy, and the makings of a nice little program.

he has good football players that are coached very well. thing is, mangino appears to the guy that might stay there. there are prejudice issues with his weight, and you better believe he is aware of that. i really hope he stays there. why wait around on nebraska and colorado to get back to where they should be and let kansas be that team? i think mangino's deal is built for success that will last a lot longer than pinkel's too.

a lot of folks picking this team (me included) to finish around .500. even i wasn't convinced really.

not to sound mean, and i'm sure it does....

does he make in home visits?

in all seriousness, or does he talk to the recruits and parents only on campus?

He is a good coach, but his team is nothing special. USF has gone to simple man-2-man coverage and shut their *** down. 28 unanswered points. That hurts.

Hornfans jinx lives on.
You'd think Kansas would mix in a blitz or something every once in awhile. Groethe has all the time in the world in the pocket.

love it when you first half post looks silly 2 hours later.

costly play by reesing. ku needed that. i am still giving them a lot of respect when we meet up with them this year.

I was noticing in the first half that KU offense seemed to rely on big wide receivers blocking really well down field. In fact, some of those catches almost looked like screens with other WR's blocking instead of linemen. I would think that would be a pretty easy defensive halftime adjustment once the DC shows the secondary where the blocks are going to come from.

Anybody else see this this? Or was I just a little too drunk.
