Mandola EstateTrattoria Lisina

I took my wife there for her birthday last week. Beautiful setting, lots of outdoor seating that will be great once the evenings get cooler.

Small wine list. Their wines are on par with most Texas wines, which is to say they're OK but not great wines.

Food is solid but not spectacular. Much like Mandola's in the Triangle, the food is good but the menu is pretty basic and not an adventurous Italian menu. Fairly inexpensive. Two glasses of wine, an antipasto platter, three entrees and two coffees were $75 including tip.

They also do tours of the winery operation.

We'll definitely be going back when it's cooler.

We live in Driftwood and have been there a few times already. The food is good and the portions are large. The setting is awesome and the service has been pretty good so far. The whole winery is a great place to visit. Their pizza is excellent and the pasta is outstanding.
