He has definitely eaten grosser things than a grub but there is something about the way that thing explodes that was plain nasty. It shoots out and slimes the camera! I'm glad I wasn't watching it in HD or I might have chummed.

The grossest thing he has eaten was maybe the juice out of the half digested grass in the camel's stomach.

I screamed out loud when that maggot exploded in his mouth.
After the screaming/gagging/dry heaving subsided I thought later to myself that, "Maybe he should have just swallowed it whole..."
Then I watched it again (thanks DVR) and saw the massive teeth that miniature-beast-of-a-creature had and realized he would be able to chew his way out of a stomach. So, good thing he chewed....

So this week all he does is eat some snake raw, cook tea out of poo and kill a porcupine with a spear. Ho-hum.

That porcupine was ******* scary.

I've never laughed as hard at this show as when he was down in that pit. When he told the locals they were bat **** crazy if they thought he was going to stick his head in the hole and grab that porcupine by the leg... but then after 1 more second of thought he basically says **** it and sticks his head in. Awesome.
