Man City: Another pick up. Sylvinho

Worse than the Yankees. I realize winning is really the only thing that matters in the end...But if I was a City fan before these last few years I would feel a little dirty about how my team has gone about trying to win.

And I do. It just feels wrong. But the ground work was in place with a recent UEFA spot and mid to top mid tables. But yeah, what you said.

What I do like about this is the manager has total carte blanche in this. It is not the owner going out and buying the players and then saying, "Coach them". He has final say and even has scouted the guys he wants. This is hopefully a good thing.

City has not ruled the Prem since 1968, I believe. I have been a fan half of that time. This is weird. As long as Ireland and others from the development squads of City are still there the panic is kept at a distance.

The thing I hated about playing Tevez is what I love watching him for now. That guy flat out does not quit. He goes full tilt the whole time the way it should be. I dare you to make a lazy kick back to your keeper. He will come mere inches as he dives or lunges for the ball from blocking it and maybe getting a deflection to go into the goal. I love that type of play.

I cannot believe this is City when I watch them. My favorite player from Bayern Munich a couple of years ago, Roque Santa Cruz is not in the Blue. I am happy about that and this is the kit I think I want the most. Ireland or Wright Phillips perhaps.

I wouldnt feel bad.

That's top tier Soccer.

It will only feel weird for a year or two.

I bet Chelsea fans have lost any feeling of shame.

Perhaps and good point, Hong Komgsan. I don't know Chelseas trials and tribulations but I doubt they were as high and low as that of Man City. And while they are a BIG city squad, City has had to lay in the shadow of a powerhouse, ManUre. There is not a lot going on in MadChester other than shaping music for decades to come.

Its been noble and consoling to remind Man U fans that their team was a joke. it feels odd. I am excited to see the results and have a rabid City fan there willing to put me up and get me a ticket. HK may be put to the side to go to Manchester for a match. I would be like a kis at Disneyland.
