Malcolm Brown vs Round Rock

The wife and I rode down to Shertz and watched Cibolo Steele play Round Rock tonight. Steele won 24-14, but led RR 24-0 with 4:30 to go.

Malcolm was used very conservatively, imo, and still had 194 on about 14 carries, with 2 TD by my count.

If you have not seen this young man in person and can, DO IT!. Unbelievable talent and one heck of a teammate. VERY humble. I am salivating. I have not seen a more impressive back in many, many years. He is a solid 6' and 220, and is a lot faster in person than he looks on film. He busted a TD run of 45, but perhaps the most impressive run was a 30 yard run where he ran left, was bottled up, reversed his field and ran through the D. On several runs he carried 2-3 defenders 5-7 yards.

Huge thighs and GREAT vision. Kid can cut on a dime at his size. He is a very efficient runner. Cibolo does not have the team around him they did last year.

"Thank you for the report. I am glad you got to go and had a good time. "

thanks. We had never been tot a Steele game. The home side was FULL. The crowd was loud. The people there really impressed us. Nice folks and the student body actually cheered and watched the game. Their band was huge and good. VERY impressed with this school as we make our treks out to catch various HS games.
Man, we love this time of year!
