Making website images uncopyable?

I'm using the standard web-designer that came with my DSL account to create a makeshift portfolio. Although I know it's highly unlikely, I'm paranoid of someone stealing an image of my work and using it as their own. How do you make an image uncopyable like some sites do?

you cant, really. you can put scripts that disable right clicks, but it's real easy to bypass them.

put big old watermarks on your pictures, as that would deter most image thieves.

You can just make the image small enough to be unusable for any other purpose. If anybody rips it off and tries to use it it will be too low res to do them any good.

It depends on the work. There actually is a lot you can do depending on the value of the work, what limitations you are willing to live with, what copyright violators may want to do with it, your technical expertise and how much you are willing to pay (there are watermarking services that scour the web and notify you when they find one of your works on another site).

PM me if you want more details.
