Making page maximized when opening

I had some computer work done, and since then all internet pages open in the minimized size. Not a huge deal, but sort of inconvenient, and not what I have been used to for years. How do I make maximized pages my default?

If I understand you correctly, it sounds like your browser is simply opening up in the "non-maximized" mode. If that's the problem then you can open up your browser, maximize it, then shut it down (click on the X in the upper right hand part of the window). This should change the default to maximized.

Hummm. If I open the interwebs from the start menu it opens maximized...that is google, my home page. If I open, say Hornfans from my desk top icon, it's minimized.

I think the shortcut icon on your desktop "remembers" the mode that it's in. Try opening up hornfans from your desktop icon, then maximize it, then shut it down (click on the X). Then bring up hornfans from the desktop icon again and see if that worked. If not, then I'm not sure how else to do it

Press ctrl when you click the X to shut it down.
