Anybody catch game 1? I missed it but, wow, what a blow out. In the 2nd and 3rd quarters, Orlando Outscored Atl 60-21.

good thing the series isn't based on total points scored. A 40 point loss, is the same as a 1 point loss. Hawks just need to regroup and try again. Or maybe Magic are just that good. Don't be surprised to see another sweep.

other than Dwight Howard i couldn't name another player on those two teams.

I could probably name at least 5 players on each team of the 6 remainder playoff teams: Boston, Cleveland, San Antonio, Phoenix, Cavs and Utah.

Ever heard of Vince Carter? Rishard Lewis? Jameer Nelson? Josh Smith? Joe Johnson? Al Horford? Those are just a few off the top of my head.


I didn't realize this until they mentioned it in the studio after the Lakers game, but apparently the Hawks have a history of getting blown out in the first road game of their past 5 or 6 playoff series. None of them were in the 40 point range, but they were mostly 20+ blowouts.

So (not necessarily based on this game) do the Magic go to the finals again this year? They match up well against the Cavs, but I don't even know if the Cavs are going to get by the Celtics.

I think the East's is Orlando's to lose. None of the other teams seem as "gelled" as they do. Losing Turkoglu was a blessing.
