Madoff Ponzi Scheme Legal Question

Suppose I gave Madoff $100k 10 years ago. Last year, I cash out taking $300k. Is that my money to keep or is it subject to seizure in the courts? Can I be individually sued for the money by other investors? Would statute of limitations keep me protected?

I am not a lawyer, but curious if there is any legal precedence for this scenario. It appears to be a huge train wreck that we are going to get to watch real-time. Just trying to get a sneak preview of the finish.

Given what you describe....i wouldn't spend the $200k. Its called claw-back and its coming.
