It wasn't overnight. Pat Henry left LSU for A&M 5 years ago, and he has recruited extremely well there.

It's amazing to me that Bill Byrne can go get the best track and field coach in the country, along with a few other good hires, but has been a complete failure at finding a decent football coach. Apparently, he can't manage money worth a damn either. We'll see how much longer their minor sports can stay afloat with the moneymaker program in shambles.
