Macbook Power cord

My son had the magnetic cord in his mouth when I had the computer unplugged. Well, it looks like one of the prongs is not connecting like it was before. The light on it does not come on when plugged in, but it holds the computers charge. Its at 73% right now and holding..but not charging up. Anyway, any suggestions?

wow, thank god your son's okay. did he have the plug end of it in his mouth? only think i can think of is to maybe swab the contacts with some alcohol on a q-tip.

my kid is a magnet to my Mac cord. good idea w/the alcohol.
