M. Wie: No surprise

That girl has been bred for the limelight; trust me, my golf teammate grew up with her at camps/leadbetter academy. Her father might be the worst thing for her (in a golf sense).

May 12, 4:13 pm EDT is the post date of this story. Not that old. Even more shocking is the retirement of Annika at 37? wow. Maybe they should start a "Champions" type league for the women, it could start at 40. Get all the old uglies off the TV. I'd watch more LPGA, thats for sure.

I'm not sure "Annika" and "ugly" belong in the same sentence. i feel the same about Julie Inkster-a great looking woman. Just because they are ot kids doesn't mean they're not still lookers.

Annika is def. not one of the "uglies". I'm mainly referring to the ones with front butts and life jackets.

That poor girl was ruined by her father. She never had a chance due to all the pressure situations her father forced her into. She was playing tournaments with the men at an age far younger than Tiger. She also was playing on the women's tour with much more frequency that Tiger did with the men's tour. Tiger only played the master's with the PGA tour as an amatuer and that is because he won the US Amatuer.

That poor girl just never had a chance. I hope she takes some time off to recover from not being a kid.
