Lupe Fiasco - Live

It appears I missed a pretty great Foo Fighters show, but. . .

damn damn damn - Lupe is amazing - so much better than when he last came through opening up for the Roots.

His stage presense was greater, he seemed happy to be there, and his band was tight - drummer, bass, guitarist, 2 keyboardists, 3 back up singers, and hype man - and he was f'ing amazing.

For those that live in cities he's coming to. . .it's worth it.

I was at Emo's on Tuesday for the MGMT show... Lupe was on the outside stage. I caught a song or two, from the back of the crowd. It looked pretty fun to be there for the whole show, but I didn't have tickets for that one and if you weren't a cute girl it was hard to sneak in.

He was wearing a Colt McCoy jersey on stage, FWIW.

I agree that he was a lot better this time around. I believe he was sick when he came with the roots last year. The Colt jersey was nice.
