Lunch Spots b/w Canyon Lake Dripping Springs?

I'll be checking out some property this weekend at Canyon Lake and then up the road in Dripping Springs. The drive from CL to DS will probably be during the lunch hour. Any good lunch spots in between the two I should consider? Not bound to a certain route so I can detour through Blanco, Wimberley, Fischer if there's a stop for good eats.

There are a couple of good choices on the square [triangle really] in Wimberley. Park in the middle, have a walk around, stretch your legs.

there's actually a really good bbq place in blanco, right on the square. cant remember the name, but its on the corner and i want to say it has red in the sign somewhere. excellent bbq. used to live in dripping, and am in sa now, so have done all the eating spots. gruene has the gristmill. sattler has absolutely nothing, and neither does dripping. salt lick is a nice option, and the restaraunt on the wimberley square (i believe its cypress something) is a good choice also.

Blkshoes is entirely incorrect re: Drippin'.

Blanco has Riley's BBQ & they also have one in Drippin'.

Drippin' also has a new place on the N side of 290 called Timpone's market & they are sor of like a mini version of Central Market (organic, hard to find stuff, imported, etc).

We also have Orgeron's which is a New Orleans style restaurant & to this Coonass, it's good stuff (the owners are ExPat's / escapees like me).

There's a gas station to the W of CR 165 where it intersects 290 - don't waste your time with the Q there as it's below McDonald's on a bad day.

BTW, as you go up 281, you can take a NE swing on CR 165 & this will not exactly shave light years off of your drive, but it's a nicer ride.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Ended up stopping at Riley's in Blanco. Damn fine pork loin sandwich. And I did take the 165 cut up to Henly. Dumped me out on 290 right near 3232 which is where I was headed.
