Lunch in westlake

I have a lunch date on wednesday but we have time constraints so I have to pick her at in Westlake and take her to lunch there. Any recommendations on nice places for lunch in that area? Preferably someplace fairly nice.

No question about it. That Chinatown is the best Chinese food I've ever had. Much better than the north location.

I was going to suggest the Westlake HS lunch room cuz you probably like 'em young

, but Abuelo's at Barton Creek Mall (where the old movie theater detached from the mall was) should fit the bill.

just outside of westlake is the Taco Deli (Baton Skyway).

Bistro 88 food is great, but their decor is rather helter/skelter and I think almost repulsive. It's an odd place. They have weird taste for architecture/design but good taste for food, thats for sure.

Might not be the best first date place. But then again, there aren't many nice places in 46.

Their Oak Hill location had nice decor, but not enough business to stay open. Which was a shame, because the food was outstanding.
